Troubleshooting Guide- Offline Flowie-O
Updated over 4 months ago

The AlertAQ™ water and A/C intelligence platform will notify you if your Flowie-O loses its connection to our system, triggering Offline Alerts. Follow these steps to get your Flowie-O back online.

Understanding Offline Flowie-O

When a Flowie-O goes offline, it can impact its ability to communicate with the AlertAQ™ platform and will not report data on the dashboard. Ensure that your Flowie-O is within range of a registered cellular sensor, such as the Sensor Relay, with a green LED indicator.

Tips to Improve Connectivity

To ensure optimal connectivity for your Flowie-O, try relocating the sensor relay closer to the Flowie-O and placing it on higher ground near a window if possible. Position the antenna in the direction of the nearest cellular tower and avoid obstructions such as metallic and cement walls. Additionally, Alert Labs offers extension antennas for better positioning; contact the Support team or your Sales Representative for more information.

Hard-to-Reach Locations

For installations in hard-to-reach locations, such as deep outdoor pits or mechanical rooms, Alert Labs offers Flowie-O Extension Cables available for purchase. Contact the Support team or your Sales Representative for more information.

Sensor Status Lights

The lights on your Flowie-O indicate its status:

  • White: Sensor is starting up

  • Red: Sensor is searching for a connection

  • Magenta/Purple: Sensor is updating firmware

  • Green: Sensor is connected and communicating with AlertAQ™

By following these guidelines, you can improve the signal strength and connectivity of your Flowie-O, ensuring it remains online and fully functional. For further assistance, please contact our Support team.
