The Alert Labs temperature cable attaches to Floodie to remotely monitor temperature in critical areas. Prevent problems like pipe freezing or food spoilage with instant alerts 24/7 on your phone.
This accessory cable requires a Floodie sensor to attach to and must have a cellular sensor (Flowie, Flowie-O, Sumpie, or Sentree) on the property to connect with the Alert Labs system.
Installation is quick and easy:
Find and remove the black stopper on the side of Floodie.
Plug the cable into the opened port.
The 10ft cable and battery-operated Floodie help you monitor hard-to-reach areas.
The temperature cable is capable of operating between -40°C and +80°C (-40°F to 176°F) with a ±0.5°C accuracy. In sub-zero temperatures the accuracy is within ±2°C.
Will it work with my sensor?
Check the serial number of your Floodie. If it begins with LH or later (LI, LJ, LK...) your sensor supports temperature reading and the accessory cable. If you have an older version, please contact our support team at hello@alertlabs.com.
How often does it update?
Temperature data is collected hourly and updated in the system every four (4) hours, unless there is an issue. If your Floodie detects a flood or temperatures outside of your thresholds, it will alert you immediately.
Where do I find the temperatures?
When you log into the AlertAQ, click on the property you'd like to view then select Graphs. There will be a Temperature & Humidity section, which will list the most recent temperature. Click the tile to view a historical data chart.
