What do the Lights on Sensor Relay Mean?

This article helps explain the meanings of each LED light status that you may encounter on your Sensor Relay.

Your Sensor Relay can display different LED light statuses to help you understand what's happening and the next troubleshooting steps. Your Sensor Relay will provide connectivity for any of your companion sensors installed within 200 ft of it. Each device has a light on top to let you know its status. LED Meanings for Sensor Relay

  • White (blink 5 times): Startup sequence

  • Red (fast blink 3 times): Disconnected

  • Yellow (slower blink): Connecting to cellular network

  • Yellow to Green (blinking between): In the process of connecting to the Cloud

  • Green (slow pulsing): Connected

  • Yellow (breathing): Connected but on battery power

  • Magenta/Green (alternating blink): Downloading a firmware update

  • Magenta/White/Green/Cyan (various blink): Installing a firmware update

  • Blue (blinks every 5 sec): Temperature or humidity in alarm state
