If you're deploying the Alertlabs Floodie, Flowie O and Shuttie Plug-In devices at your property, you have the option to pair them to shut off the water valve whenever water is detected by the Floodie sensor. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can configure this feature:
Step 1 - To start, log in to the AlertAQ portal using your credentials.
Step 2 - Once you are logged in, look for the 'Sensors' tab in the left navigation panel and click on it.
Step 3 - You'll see a list of all your connected devices. Click on the Shuttie Plug-In device that you wish to set up for automated shut-off response. A panel will open up on the right side of the screen with detailed information about the selected device.
Step 4 - Scroll down and find the 'settings' option. Click on it and you'll be redirected to the settings page of the selected Shuttie device.
Step 5 - In the settings page, look for the 'Sensor Settings' section and expand it.
Step 6 - Find the 'Auto Shut off ' section.
Step 7 - To allow the Shuttie to automatically shut off the water system, select "Yes" in option.
Step 8 - You now need to assign which Floodie/Flowie O sensors will trigger this shut-off action. Pick and select the Floodies / Flowie O from the list. This can include all Floodie /Flowie O devices or just specific ones depending on your property requirements.
Step 9 - After making sure that you've selected all your needed devices and features, click on the 'Save' button to finalize your settings.
