Where is my water meter?

Water meters are usually located in the basement, utility room or a meter pit outside. If you locate your main water shut-off valve, your water meter will be just down the pipe. Other common places for water meters include garages, basement washrooms, or laundry rooms.

How do I install my sensors?

Do I need a Sensor Relay?

Yes, If you're using a Flowie-O and Floodies to monitor your property, you'll need a Sensor Relay. The Relay is the hub that all the companion sensors, like Floodie and Flowie-O, connect to in order to start reporting data to your AlertAQ portal. You'll need a cellular Sensor Relay in order to use the other sensors properly.

How do I register my sensors?

To register your sensors, visit AlertAQ and click the “Create An Account” button. Our system will walk you through the entire registration. You’ll need to know the serial number for your sensor. Click here for help finding the serial number or our support team can help if you're not sure where to find it.

How do I see my data? What is a Dashboard?

  • The Alert Labs Dashboard is a website where you can see your data.

  • Discover what’s happening with your properties, including water use, power status, and a summary of alerts.

  • You can also change your preferences and settings, and add/remove sensors.

Where can I get the Alert Labs app?

Our Alert Labs app is readily available for download for both Apple and Android devices. Search for "AlertAQ" in the App Store or Google Play store to download.
