Only people with Editor and Admin permissions can calibrate sensors
Water meters vary by manufacturer, municipality, pipe size, and age. Most of them report water usage in a similar manner, which we use as the default calibration on your Flowie or Flowie-O sensor.
However, to get the most accurate information and forecasting for your alerts, we recommend calibrating your Flowie and Flowie-O water flow sensors.
Check your calibration status
Sign in to the AlertAQ™ Water & A/C Intelligence Platform.
Click on the Sensors page from the navigational bar on the left.
Locate your water flow sensor:
Flowie and Flowie-O follow the same process.
The Sensors list has a column to let you know the calibration status
If it already says "Calibrated", you're done!
If you have multiple sensors, use the search feature to help you find the sensor you need faster. You can search by name, sensor type, location, or serial number!
Click on your sensor and a Details side panel will open.
If the sensor is not calibrated, the status will appear at the top of the side panel.
Click the button to view your progress or submit your reading.

Important Tips when using Water Bill Calibration
The date of the Previous Actual Reading must be some time after you installed and successfully connected your Flowie or Flowie-O; water usage needs to be detected within your AlertAQ™ account at the time of that first reading.
Only use Actual readings, not estimated ones. When a water management company isn't able to capture a reading at the end of your billing cycle, they may use an estimate instead. Please only use Actual readings for calibration.
If the bill is for a compound meter or multiple meters on your property, calibration must be done for each meter dial. The high and low side readings of a compound meter must be listed separately on the water bill in order to calibrate each Flowie sensor correctly.
